Falköpings Mejeri, situated in Falbygden, is collectively owned by 209 dairy farmers from the surrounding region. Approximately thirty of these farmers are affiliated with the KRAV® association, emphasizing sustainable and organic practices. The dairy, a hub of activity, employs around 70 individuals engaged in various roles, including production, quality control, and administration. Facilitating the milk supply chain, three tank trucks transport milk from the farms to the Falköping dairy, while 20 easily recognizable trucks distribute the final products to stores. This cooperative effort underscores the commitment to local dairy production and highlights the integral role Falköpings Mejeri plays in connecting farmers and consumers in the region.
